Reds:
At the top of our list is none other than our 2016 Companion Cabernet Sauvignon . This Napa wine features oak, smooth tannins blended with blueberry and a hint of tobacco. Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb wine to be served at Thanksgiving as it adds delicious flavor without overpowering the tasty once-a-year dishes.
Would this guide really lead you in the right direction if it didn’t feature a Pinot? Our 2014 Pinot Noir pairs exceptionally well with a Thanksgiving meal. The light-bodied and fruity wine perfectly complements a heavy Thanksgiving feast. The earthy undertones in this wine will complement any Thanksgiving staple such as turkey and stuffing.
Last but certainly not least is our He Wines She Dines Everyday Red. A unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Zinfandel and Syrah, this red is great for any day but especially Thanksgiving. With aromas of grape and cherry this light fruity blend balances the heartiness of a Thanksgiving menu.
Whites:
The Chalk Hill Sauvignon Blanc is a remarkable choice for this Thanksgiving wine list. The flavors of honeydew melon, lemon grass, lime zest, and jasmine exceptionally complement the spices and herbs of the holiday meal.
Looking for a white that’s not too heavy or light? Try pairing Fernando Pighin & Figli Pinot Grigio Collio with your Thanksgiving meal. Its citrus aromas combine nicely with notes of pear and apple to offer a crisp and clean feel with every sip. This white wine is sure to offer the pop of flavor you’re looking for this Thanksgiving.
The Everyday Chardonnay, although unoaked and relatively dry, features a citrus note that will make your palate dance ! Crisp and light in character, a glass of Chardonnay is the perfect accessory for Thanksgiving turkey and mashed potatoes.
Sparkling
Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about the bubbly! Champagne is a wonderfully light drink to start the meal. Whether you are sipping while the family puts the finishing touches on the turkey or doing a toast with bubbles, you can’t go wrong with this wine choice.
But, if you are looking for a recommendation, we’ve got a few! The Bisol Prosecco has an intense yet refreshing flavor and adds an element of elegance to any special occasion, especially during the holidays.
