Sip the World: 4 Summer Cocktails to Try
Jul 7th 2026
A passport isn’t needed to experience some of the world’s best flavors this season. This summer, we’re inviting you to Sip the World with us, one cocktail at a time. Inspired by four countries competing on soccer’s biggest stage, Argentina, Spain, Brazil, and France, each drink was carefully crafted to evoke the feeling of traveling internationally. Whether you prefer bold South American flavors or classic European character, these drinks are a perfect way to cool down while cheering on your favorite team!
Stop #1: Argentinean Summer

Our first stop on the Sip the World tour takes us to Argentina with our Argentinean Summer cocktail! This country is known for its vast, culturally vibrant landscapes, which feel like a getaway in our backyard. With its crisp, fruit-forward profile, our Everyday White is the perfect base for this refreshing cocktail. Paired with fresh strawberry and grapefruit, it can be made for an afternoon by the pool or for an evening full of relaxing on your patio.
Stop #2: Spanish Sangria

Spain is one of the world’s richest wine cultures, known for bringing people together over tapas and long summer evenings. The Spanish Sangria is an iconic cocktail that is recognized everywhere, making it the perfect inspiration for one of our World Cup cocktails. As different cultures and fans come together for a tournament, this is a great opportunity to bring in the spirit of Spain with crisp wine, fresh fruit, and bright citrus flavors. One of our most popular red wines, Everyday Red, completed our recipe to perfection. As Spain is also known for slowing down and enjoying food with good company, this tournament is an excuse to sip on a cocktail that is just the right amount of richness.
Stop #3: Brazilian Caipirinha

Sit back and relax while watching the World Cup with a Brazilian Caipirinha in your hand! As Brazil has taken the field this summer, we wanted to celebrate the country’s vibrant energy with a cocktail that reflected the liveliness it is known for. With just four simple ingredients, this cocktail proves that refreshing summer drinks do not need to be overcomplicated. Fresh lime and sugar combined makes a bright citrus flavor, while cachaça, known as Brazil’s signature spirit, has a distinctive flavor that is somewhere between tequila and rum, adding a bold finish. It is an easy cocktail to make for warm summer afternoons and World Cup parties with friends.
Stop #4: French 75

There's something special about slowing down and savoring a summer afternoon with good wine and great company! The French 75 inspired us because of France’s World Cup journey, which embraces a light, and elegant profile that fits well with leisurely lunches or catching the sunset out on the lake or pool. Veuve Clicquot is a great, bubbly choice to pair with your favorite gin and fresh lemon juice. This cocktail is a simple recipe that will please everyone, especially while cheering France on this summer. Once you garnish your drink with a lemon twist or wedge, pair it with seafood or italian, such as Linguine with Clams and Fennel.
Tips for Hosting a Summer Cocktail Party
A cocktail party on a long summer day is something that everyone enjoys and remembers. Having a cold, fruity drink in your hand shouldn’t be overcomplicated. Start with the basics, such as glassware, charcuterie pairings, garnishes, and chilled wine. Whether you want to have a cocktail party for watching the World Cup or just to gather with friends and family, having a theme is a fun way to elevate your experience. A theme can be just as simple as a colorful tablecloth, flags hanging from your ceiling, or fairy lights throughout your backyard. Finally, pair your cocktail drinks with the appropriate foods or snacks. Cheers to a summer filled with great wine, delicious cocktails, and even better company!
Behind the Scenes

Since the World Cup is only once every four years, and with the United States hosting for the first time in over three decades, we knew we couldn’t pass up this opportunity to celebrate in a way that brings people from all over together. This is the main reason Sip the World was made.
For our 2026 summer campaign, this one is one of a kind because we selected four countries that inspired us throughout the tournament and created cocktails that reflect their unique cultures and traditions. The ingredients truly grasp each country’s signature flavors, and then it is styled to match its personality, with each detail carefully chosen. We wanted each cocktail to feel like a small getaway around the world while showcasing how our wines can bring these flavors to life. We hope you enjoy one, or all with friends and family before summer comes to an end!
