Wine Release Party

We are excited to announce that we will release two new exclusive wines at our wine release party on April 27th! Our passion is cultivating well-crafted wines that leave a lasting impression on everyone who tries them. At He Wines She Dines, we strive to create a community of wine lovers who are excited to try a variety of wines and new experiences.

About

The upcoming wine release party will feature our newest and most exclusive wines. Companion, one of the nations most awarded wines, and introducing Ominous, a wine that will leave you breathless. Both wines are made in small batches. Three barrels of Napa Valley Cabernet yielded 849 bottles of Companion, our largest production to date. Two barrels of delicate Alexander Valley Cabernet yielded just 567 bottles of Ominous to mark its inaugural release! We are excited about the wine; these minimal quantities will make them unique additions to your cellar. The fourth vintage of Companion boasts the floral and dark cherry from the Napa microclimate in the valley below Pritchard Hill, where these grapes enjoyed the sun and cool nights on the valley floor. The oak is forward yet subtle, and the fruit is forward with a slight pepper note and smooth finish. The full body and soft palate make Companion a unique cabernet true to the roots. Ominous is 100% Alexander Valley fruit, but it is jammy, full, and dark, like the more delicate climates. It also has a naturally red fruit finish that hints at tobacco and pepper. A Spanish monastery inspired the name, and the wine reminds one of dark Spanish fruit from Cataluña with soft tannins, lighter oak notes, and a spicy finish.

What to Expect

The wine release party will occur on Saturday, April 27th, from 12-5 PM at 203 County Line Rd Rockwall, TX 75032. We have tickets on our website; click the “Events” tab to purchase tickets for upcoming events! Non-members will need to purchase tickets for entry to the event for $20, and members can get in free. Your ticket will include four glasses of wine, the two new wine releases, and two others. Our new and all HWSD wines will be available at the event. There will be live music and patio seating for those who wish to enjoy the nice weather. We hope you will join us in celebrating our new exclusive wines!

Companion

He Wines She Dines has created many Companion wines, with the 2nd vintage being Companion Wines Companion Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016. This wine is 100% Cabernet from Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley and was aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels. It has notes of oak, smooth tannins, and blackberry with a hint of tobacco. The 3rd vintage is Companion Wines Companion Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017. This wine is a classic medium-body Alexander Valley with a slight touch of our 626 Reserve Cabernet for perfect round smoothness. It has been aged 18 months in 100% new Hungarian Oak Barrels and has aromas of blackberry, hints of tobacco, and an intense oak nose.
